The Figurine - Araromire - Movies by Kunle Afolayan featuring Ramsey Noah, Kunle Afolayan, Funlola Awofiyebi-Raimi, Omoni Oboli, Chief Mulaina Oyelami and Tosin Sido. Two buddies and a girl all down on their luck have their lives changed after one of them discovers "ARAROMIRE"- A mysterious figurine in an abandoned shrine which according to ancient legen, bestows seven years of good luck. But no one told them about the next seven years. This is a swell movie that has got good pictures and direction. It tells a Nigerian movie with a Yoruba background. The story revolves around a wooden god - A figurine - A statue that represents a deity called Araromire. One question i have for Mr Kunle. "Do you believe in voodoo?". Well, I'm just saying cos no Christian would want to produce a movie like this, but however, it's quite revealing as it tells us how people who believed in these gods lived their lives in the past and their experiences. It's a must watch and it's coming out in theaters this October in Nigeria. Watch Nigerian movies online See movie clips and trailers. Make your comments about them. It is a true story of what continues to happen in Nigeria and Africa. Voodoo and all these sorts of magic are not fiction
